Jabobs</lom:string></lom:title><lom:language>fra</lom:language><lom:description><lom:string language="fre">Dans son ouvrage fondateur « Déclin et survie des grandes villes américaines » (1960), l’urbaniste américaine Jane Jacobs pose le bases d’une analyse du fonctionnement des espaces publics et de leur contribution plus générale au fonctionnement de la ville. Jacobs part du constat que les théories classiques de l’urbanisme se soient attardées sur la définition des caractéristiques physiques idéales des espaces urbains (que ça soit dans la version moderniste ou dans celle du mouvement des cités jardin) sans essayer de comprendre les subtilités des fonctionnements urbains.</lom:string></lom:description><lom:keyword><lom:string language="fre">J.
